Pre-planted coir mats and rolls
The pre-planted coir mats and rolls are particularly suitable for the protection and beautification of banks, embankments and canals. The coir mats and rolls feature a variety of aquatic and riparian plants.
Coir mats and coir rolls are planted with young riparian and aquatic plants at the nursery. The coir mats are planted in accordance with a planting schedule or exclusively with reed plants. The plants are pre-grown at least one growing period (March to July-August) in the nursery so that when delivered, the root package is well developed.
The soil is protected this way and only provides more strength over time as the roots of the plantings hold the soil together. This allows a bank to be quickly provided with protection with a natural look.
