INOGRID® - Innovation from & for Dutch soil
INOGRID® is an innovative steel mesh grid with a special thermoplastic anti-corrosion coating that is used to prevent digging damage by beavers, beaver rats (nutria), rabbits, rats, moles and other wildlife, among others.
With a life expectancy of at least 50 years, INOGRID® keeps diggers out of the area of critical flood defenses for long periods of time. Available in roll size 25 m x 2 m.
The INOGRID® has a mesh size of 40 x 40 mm. The mesh width is chosen according to natural standards to rule out animals getting caught in the mesh with their incisors. The special anti-corrosion coating gives this steel mesh superior resistance to salt, sea, sand, stones and acids found in the ground. The eco-friendly coating is free of bisphenol A (BPA), halogens, phthalates and heavy metals and is specially designed for long-term adhesion in extreme conditions. The coating prevents leaching of heavy metals and thus degradation of the ecosystem.
